Andhra Pradesh’s capital, Amaravati, is set to become a global quantum technology hub through the Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) initiative. The plan includes building South Asia’s first 133-qubit quantum computer and forming partnerships with global tech giants like IBM, NVIDIA, and TCS. Apart from hardware, AQV will focus on talent development via a “Quantum Academy” to train thousands of researchers. This effort is part of India’s broader push to transition from technology consumer to innovator.
